Terms of Service

Last Updated: July 12, 2026

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of AuraPod self-service automated lifestyle hygiene kiosks (“Stations”) and website. By scanning the UPI QR code or utilizing the Stations, you agree to comply with these terms. AuraPod is a registered sole-proprietorship entity under Udyam Registration No: UDYAM-KR-03-0724484.

1.Description of Service

AuraPod provides a rapid, automated multi-stage helmet refresh and dry-sanitization process using the clinical Sterila X™ protocol. The standard operating cycle utilizes automated chemical-free UV-C light sanitization, calibrated thermal moisture extraction, and precision eco-friendly atomized fogging to refresh protective headgear inside a touchless physical chamber.

2.Payment Policy

  • Contact-free Transactions: AuraPod is entirely cashless. Service activation occurs exclusively after a successful dynamic UPI payment scan.
  • Fixed Pricing: Standard cleanings are billed at a fixed utility fee per automated cycle, inclusive of applicable local statutory taxes.
  • Refunds: In the event of an electrical failure or mid-cycle disruption where the chamber fails to open or complete, customer support must be notified via the contact dashboard to verify the cloud transaction log for manual reversal.

3.Appropriate Use & Helmet Safety Guidelines

  • Target Gear: AuraPod is custom-engineered and calibrated specifically for standard protective two-wheeler riding helmets. Users must not place non-approved objects, hazardous items, or living organisms inside the chamber.
  • Placement Requirements: Helmets must be situated cleanly inside the chamber according to the station's physical guide templates to ensure even coverage.
  • Material Integrity: The Sterila X™ technology uses strictly regulated, material-safe clinical radiation and thermal extraction that leaves zero damp residues, preserving high-end padding, foam structures, and visors. However, it is the user's responsibility to ensure their helmet is in structurally sound condition before launching a cycle.

4.Limitation of Liability

AuraPod and its technology parent, Shield X Syndicate Pvt. Ltd., provide these autonomous micro-utility services on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. While our hardware complies strictly with industrial 304-Grade Stainless Steel builds, UV-C IS 18687 safety adherence, and ISO 15883 standards, AuraPod shall not be held liable for:

  • Any pre-existing degradation, loose custom visor modifications, or third-party Bluetooth communication items attached to helmets.
  • Lost personal belongings left unattended near the public common-area installation spaces at malls or technology parks.

5.Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from the use of the services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
